Although I figured out the twist quite early, the film does a good job of creating a tense atmosphere, even if the film itself was never that scary. A few tense moments (who knew a Red Cross donation could be THAT effective) a few weird moments (involving hissing cockroaches) and a disturbing end game make this a solid entry.

I had the whole movie figured out with in the first 15 minutes. It's hard for a movie to build when its inevitable twist ending is as obvious as the one in "Goodnight Mommy."

I was seriously misled by what looked like a good trailer....the trailer was better than the film itself, Nothing scary at all kids...Just plain weird....waste of time
