Like all the shorts played before Disney films, Feast is vibrant and cheerful - even when things take a turn for the depressing. Even though I have never owned a pet, I've been around enough to know how they can affect your life. Granted, the dog in the short is seemingly immortal (or a time lord, maybe) - but otherwise it a very sweet short.

Actually a really well done, hand-drawn short. It's about a man, his dog, a girl, and food. I thought it was great. It showed us the emotional impact that pets can have on relationships, both good and bad (Disclaimer: I don't own a pet and never will). I liked how it ended with the dog growing up with the family, but realistically, and yes I know this is geared towards children, but there's no way the dog lives as long as it does, and I think you could have extended the short to show the dog dying and how it affects the family dynamic.
