Jack and the Cuckoo-Clock Heart had a lot going for it - For it's gorgeous animation, visuals and the unique ideas that this movie clearly has, but all of it fell flat with it's over use of 'poetry', that really put me off from enjoying it. That's not all, the script is muddled and some musical moments didn't really do it for me.

I feel like this movie had such interesting ideas and visuals but everything just got clouded over with the weird poetry-slam-esque musical numbers and muddled script. It seems like something to watch with the help of certain substances...
