I was expecting a typical ghost story with horror elements, but as things went along they took some surprising turns. While it's been pointed out that this type of film has been done before - The Pact at least puts its own mark on familiar elements and leads to a satisfying conclusion (and leaves the door open for more).

This film got off to a cliched start and I didn't get into it until the almost the second half. But, once I was invested, things became creepy. The mystery was more involving and the scares grew in tensity. The climax was particularly memorable. I liked the evolution of the story, from ghost mystery into bizarre horror. If it had began as good as it ended, then I would give a higher score. However, I still recommend this because it boasts better scares than the majority of mainstream horror films this year.

After seeing the advertisements for this film we thought we had to go see it. Its starts off with you thinking whats going on but it gradually gets better and scarier. The plotline isnt too bad but I would think that there is plans for a number 2 to follow. Once the film has finished you will contemplating who, what and why???
