The story tries to add in this emotional reasoning to the main character and despite the fact that Peter Marshall is a good actor, it doesn't work. I couldn't justify his need to torture and kill literally every guy that knew anything about his daughter's death and how he could go back to being a normal person in between the mayhem. The repetition in torturous violence just got old real quick and the movie didn't offer anything outside of the usual straight-forward revenge tale.
