Meandering comedy led by Tyler Perry in drag as the loud-mouthed and boisterous matriarch. The plot is an excuse for long skits and jokes. Sometimes interrupted by pretty hardcore melodrama. It’s kind of one ear and out the other. But I didn’t find it as annoying as I feared.
