Lake Mungo started off awesome.I was hooked wondering what was happening behind the photos but when I found out what was going on I didn't care anymore & the rest of the movie seemed to fall apart after that.Maybe they gave it away too soon before it was even over & there was still 20+ minutes left in the movie.As good as it started, It's a shame the way it had to end

Although it feels like it could have aired on The Discovery Channel (albeit, a bit more graphic than usual) this movies plays like a fuex documentary, with interviews, home recordings and news footage. It's both a ghost story and a cautionary tale about how little we know about our own children. It's a bit slow, but gets points for originality.

Maybe it was too subtle for me, but it was mostly very dull. Great acting, however.
