Tonally strange but still kind of interesting '70s mystery. Though considering the impressive cast, it should be more gripping. I guessed one of the big twists early on. Another one starts to make sense once you eliminate suspects. However, it is not every day you see James Garner paired with a doberman trying to solve a murder case.
