With the outcome of modern adventure films that act as true spectacles, "Around the World in 80 Days" has undoubtedly not aged well.

There's a lot of color, life, adventure and some humorous moments that makes this journey a completely magical one.

Is this film good no, but is it truly bad no. It does not have a compelling story or character or anything like that. In fact most of the film is just to show off the cinematography and Cantinflas doing his various talents. Then the rest is running into the various cameos of various lengths. Not one bit of the film is brillaint at all but like the Greatest Show ON Earth there is some enjoyment to be found in this film. Just because of the cameos its big scope, and a certain nostalgia quality. Not really a mulitple watcher but there are somethings that can be enjoyed about it.

I was really looking forward to this movie. Ending at 167 minutes or so, it is way to long to keep any child awake. It is not a family movie. Their is nothing here that keeps me awake - especially after all these years. Badly dated.
