I love the original and this one was not bad. I was impressed. It is not as good as War of the Worlds in remake comparison but I still found it entertaining. I loved the beginning but it felt long winded and copped out at the end. Not bad.

Action: 2/3 + Comedy: 0/2 + Good vs Evil: 1/1 + Love/Sex: 0.5/1 + Special Effects: 0/1 + Plot: 0.5/1 + Music: 0/1 = 4.5/10 or 45%. While the premise of the human race being too routine to change for the better, and therefore must die, being interesting- nothing else is. A more deserving title would have been "Day the Audience Fell Asleep" or "Let's watch Will Smith's kid cry a lot".

Very bad movie. I actually like Keanu, but this movie was just pointless. The whole time you think that mankind will be wiped out and in the end he changes his mind....because Klaatu (Keanu) sees that Helen loves her adopted son Jacob. What about the wars, the pollution, the wasting of natural resources, the evil people committing crimes etc...., but he'll save the earth because one person is good. Yeah right. Don't waste your time on this movie.

Things I enjoyed about this movie: The huge robot thing Klaatu has special powers when he touches things Things I didn't like: Anti-Human / Environmentalist message Keanu lying about being able to stop what was happening Movie Star's Kid No Love Story -- Klaatu should have fallen in love with the girl Overall - kind of a boring movie, would not recommend watching. -1 stars

This movie was so stupid The plot was stupid too. What is up with Walle and this movie are about the same things People are ruining the Earth come on people God put us on this Earth I recommend you don't see this it is a waste of your money Keanne Reeves got paid big for walking around and saying a few words in the same tone of voice The whole movie was about this girl trying to convice the aliens they are good people Do you really want to go see a movie that is 2 hrs. long that a girl is like this every two minutes Believe us we aren't bad people Believe me. Oh I forgot Kathy Bates put me out of my Misery She was so boring Get a Life Kathy Bates You only did good in one movie and that is MISERY
