I just like the fact most of this takes place in Iowa (which, for all intents and purposes is the same as Nebraska) and even though I'm no farmer, I know plenty of people who are. It's interesting to see just how important corn is - for good or bad. This would make a great companion to Food Inc if you're into documentaries at all.

While I agree that there's too much fluff and silliness in this documentary not relating directly to the main subject matter (and sometimes leading to some fallacies), there's still a lot presented. I found myself thinking about it for quite a while after seeing it - particularly the parts out how, in sort of a Gresham's Law of grains, cheap feed corn drove out other varieties of corn for humans, and of how the high-sounding label of "corn-fed beef" that we always hear is not a plus after all. Thought for food.
