So I'm sitting there watching this movie and as the time is passing I start enjoying it more and more while being fully aware of the critical drubbing it got and just thinking everyone is crazy. Then it happens, the twist everyone saw coming, the half assed origins story, the enemy that's about as threatening as a newborn and the lame ending all do a good job destroying the foundation that was so well crafted in the first 45 minutes.

Hancock, starring Will Smith, was full of corny jokes, cheesy moments, unnecessary action scenes, and inappropriate plot twists..and I loved it. Honestly, I have loved all of Will Smith's sci-fi action comedies, and Hancock is no different from any of the others. Even though this movie has absolutely nothing daring or different for Will Smith, it is still very entertaining. Its a pretty basic story: Seemingly bad guy has a heart of gold and transforms into good guy. Of course there are a lot of twists and more details, but that's the general gist of it. Anyway, if you like Men In Black or Irobot or Independence Day, I'm sure that you'll love Hancock.
