Blood Sex + Humor

Blood Car is a movie that drew my attention based on it's name and very simple premise. In an attempt to create an engine that runs on an alternative source of fuel, Archie discovers one that runs on human blood. It is a low budget film but a neat concept and something that is definitely worth checking out for fans of B movies.
The film definitely has a unique style that at times works really well and yet at other times it actually distracts from the film. The soundtrack is worth noting as there is a lot of classical music used throughout the film which is something uncommon in Horror films. It is however rather reminiscent of A Clockwork Orange in a sense as the score contradicts the mood and feeling of what is actually being shown on screen. Of course this film comes nowhere close …
