Mattilda (Lillian Gish) protects Rachel (Audrey Hepburn) and is reunited with Ben (Burt Lancaster). Brothers Cash (Audie Murphy) and Andy (Doug McClure) get emotional after an Indian attacks their home. Indians think Rachel is one of their own while Ben explains that their father was killed by the Kiowa tribe. Charlie asks permission from Ben to court Rachel but was murdered by Indians. "Don't grow up too fast." - Ben. One thing baffling was Rachel not finding out her real color at light, couldn't have she found out when dressing up or taking a bath. Other than that, the score, acting and locations were splendid. The Unforgiven proves family is indeed more significant than any wealth despite the rumors, racism, death, acceptance and finding out the truth.
