From the gothic atmosphere to Sim's pitch perfect version of Scrooge to a script that accurately adapts Dickens' work while finding ways to flesh it out further, it's this version of "A Christmas Carol" that stands out to me as the best and anyone who thinks otherwise can go Bah, Humbug themselves.

Alastair Sim is excellent casting as Scrooge in this adaptation of the Dickens classic.

the closest I've seen to the book, ever. Definitely worth a watch.
