Elegant narrative and music. "Naughty" sex-themed scenes. Some slapstick. Love story. Art student supermarket worker freezes time occasionally. Award-winning short made into feature length. "Time flies, but you're the pilot".

The defining characteristic of Cashback to me, is the superb imagery. The film is so real even though time is being stopped. This film fell under the radar, but it's definitely not one to be missed. Each individual character has a personality that's charming and all it's one. It's profoundly enjoyable and exceptionally written, cast, and directed. The film is flawless.

Freezing time and falling out of (and then finding) love - the characters, led by Sean Biggerstaff, really drive this nice little film. The story is a great twist on a common theme and the quirky characters help it along.
