It's a nice movie but, for a British film, it didn't take enough chances. It has that laid back college attitude which can be quirky at times but it can also be tedious and redundant. I guess I expected this film to be more like "Rushmore" than a safe and sitcom-y romp. The two love interests are not that interesting and the so-called friend is not that likable. I was really hoping for a better, more focused film so I was slightly disappointed. This movie could've been so much more. It could've been about a genius that is NOT about finding love because the whole "needs/dorks/nerds + finding love" formula is a big cliche. It could've made a strong statement about brilliant minds living in a not-so-brilliant society. I don't know, by the end, I was glad it was over because it wasn't …
