Plot: This retelling of the classic vampire story is based on the more
romantic stage play, but the story remains essentially the same as the
original 1931 film.

The story begins as Count Dracula is being transported to England to
take up residence in an old, abandoned castle on property adjacent to an
insane asylum. Upon his arrival, Dracula is instantly drawn to Lucy
Seward , (the daughter of the doctor in charge of the asylum), and her
friend, MIna Van Helsing (daughter of Abraham Van Helsing, a noted
expert on occult phenomena such as werewolves and vampires). The story
involves Dracula's attempt to make both of these women immortal wives,
and Van Helsing's attempts to thwarts his plans.
