Plot: A social worker assigned to a case ignores the warning of a troubled mother suspected of child endangerment. It soon becomes apparent how serious that warning was, as her family begins to experience supernatural phenomena attached to a malevolent spirit known as La Llorona. In order to escape the wrath of the entity, she will turn to a disillusioned priest who practices in his own style between the fringes of religion and mysticism. -- Chris Kavan
