Plot: Pete suffers a plane crash in the Mississippi swamps and finds himself rescued by the sweet, unsophisticated backwoods girl, Tammy. He recuperates at her house - overseen by her preacher/moonshining grandfather. Once better, he returns to his fiancee. When grandfather gets sick, he sends Tammy off to Pete's home - where her unwavering enthusiasm, home cooking and gleaming personality will have a big impact on his life. -- Chris Kavan
