Plot: A man discharged from the Marines for an allergy before every seeing action is encouraged by fellow marines to fabricate a story about being an injured war hero - and give him a uniform and medals to back up his claim. Back home, he is hailed as a hero - complete with statue and song - but when he tries to explain the truth - no one will listen. -- Chris Kavan
