The Transporter

The Transporter review
Daniel Corleone - wrote on 09/27/12

Everything felt "Hollywoodish" and well choreographed (from the catching of the gun backwards and greasing himself and using metal stilts to fight). Frank (Jason Statham) is a skilled driver known only as "The Transporter and used to be with the military. He has certain rules (Rule #1: "No new deals, when it's a deal, it's a deal", Rule #2: "No names", Rule #3: "Don't open the package" Rule #4: "Never make a promise you can't keep".) and then breaks one then his life goes awry. Acting was so uninteresting and dull. Soundtrack was horrific and even rehashed Psycho's score. Lacks proper character development for the antagonists for overloaded action. Entertaining from the beginning then bores towards the middle because of the mindless fight sequences. The Transporter is about doing the right thing while breaking a few rules.
