The Son of No One

The Son of No One review

Channing Tatum as Jonathan White, a rookie cop who gets letters from an anonymous source. The letter divulgels new information about an unsolved murder by two boys and a possible police cover-up, setting off a chain of events that rattles the neighborhood. Detective Stanford (Pacino) investigates the crime by talking to a kid. Captain Marion Mathers (Liotta) his boss tells him what to do. White talks to Lauren Bridges (Binoche) about the letters. The pace of the story is very slow, plot was all over the place and score almost nonexistent. It pains to see such talented artists in a mediocre screenplay about secrets, lies and regrets. Son of No One is not an engaging crime thriller.
