One of the most boring movies I've ever seen, for simply fact that is a Scorsese. I'm not a big fan of him, but he has his masterpieces (Taxi driver). This one is a flaw. Fake characters and boring story that seems to never get a point. It might be saved by Day Lewis, but almost. I mean, that man is not good enough to stand up the average and pretentious movie.

Gangs of New York Review comment
Are you telling me that Taxi Driver is less boring than Gangs of New York? Gangs of New York has a lot going on and Taxi Driver only has one character with not a lot going on until the end.
