Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex...

Even though this film was a hit-and-miss, the hits are really funny and more than makes up for its misses. There are seven short films here and my favourites are definitely the fifty-foot breast and the timid sperm, both feature Woody Allen. I didn't care much about the aphrodisiac and the beastiality storylines. Back to the good, I thought for a 1971 film, this is definitely a catch. I mean, who makes a movie about a fifty-foot breast? One can either think of it as daring and hilarious or unthinkable and ludicrous. I happen to think it's the former because my sense of humour is stranger than other people. I also adored how Allen showed how the body works when a man is about to ejaculate--the things that happen in the brain, the eyes, mouth, stomach, penis--you name it, it's there. Not to mention it's pretty much how imagine it would happen if cells and electric signals were to work in very slow motion. (I have think like that because I major in Biological Sciences.) I thought this was a very creative movie. Although it's a bit dated, the laughs are still there because sex comedies are pretty universal. You just have to be in the right mood for it.
