A dark Western that tells a story of revenge and vigilante justice personified. Differing from previous Eastwood films, Eastwood plays a lone gunman whose tactics are questionable and the film skillfully plays with open-ended questions of redemption and condemnation. Actually very thought-provoking when you get into it.
