Well, what is there to say about Meet the Feebles? If you have sought out this film because you are a fan of Lord of the Rings then you may be in for a nasty shock! I had seen Frighteners but even that didn't prepare for the sheer disturbingness of the Feebles. It is quite possibly the sickest film I have ever seen and on several levels. There are puppets in compromising positions, whether its sex or drugs, both of which seen airly explicitely. The gore is quite extraordinary also! I never expected there to be quite so much blood and it is drawn out and quite disgusting. The journalist fly is propbably the nastiest character in the film and the rabbit with a sexually transmitted disease adds to the nastiness too.
Despite all that, there are some good moments. Robert the hedgehog is just great as is the worm who manages everything back stage. There's also a hilarious Deer Hunter parody that is completely bizarre. Although the songs are very strange they are annoyingly catchy and the finale just has to be seen to be believed.
Overall, it's hard to say whether I'd recommend it but it's probably worth watching to say you have and to know what Peter Jackson was about! And then to wonder why the hell New Line believed he was perfect for Lord of the Rings :S Definitely a multi-talented director!
