Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li

makes Van Damme look good

What a complete and utter disappointment this film is. Well the beginning look like it really has a lot of potential but then it all comes crashing down when Kristin Kreuk entered the picture. It's not that I hate her and all because I used to love seeing her in smallville. But I guess that's the toll for being in the spotlight that long, it makes one look wilted and uninteresting. This movie I think would have been a whole lot better if Stephen Chow did the acting/direction because this was really his niche. There was nothing I could make sense about the movie. The story was really weird I mean the one with Van Damme at least made sense because it was simple enough. Also Raul Julia would have to rise out of his grave to kick the crap out of Neil McDonough for making a travesty to his character. And Chris Klein was just immaterial, he could be a wooden stool and no one would be able to tell the difference if he’s in that movie or not. The only thing plausible about this would be the fight sequences which I thought were just OK and nothing too special about it. Overall I would highly recommend playing the game instead of watching this mere nonsense.
