On the plus side, it has Dakota Fanning but on the downside - what the hell is happening and also why should I care? An old lady gifts a mysterious box to our leading lady who proceeds to play its game - which involves a lot of crying, a few jump scares and some emotional baggage. Also the old lady shows up again, you wonder if everything was just in her head until the ending which just leaves more questions. No backstory on our box, a little gore here and there but mostly just me wondering why I even bothered.
