How can you make a post-apocalyptic/space drama with George Clooney, Felicity Jones and David Oyelowo (among others) so damn boring? Despite a marquee cast and an interesting premise, the story falls flat, the pacing is numbing and the ending quite disappointing. It may be popular right now - but that doesn't mean it's good. The brightest spot? The young Caoilinn Springall who holds her own with Clooney without ever saying a word.
