The best word to describe this film is Flat. The script is flat, the jokes are flat and the special effects are flat. I was excited to hear about this new direction in the franchise and the casting but unfortunately it just didn't work. It's not a chemistry issue between Chris Hemsworth and Thompson that fails this movie, its everything else that causes them to not have that chemistry that fails them. Wish they had a chance to do a do over, but this will be the last we see of this franchise for a while.
