Well acted, but just wasn't that great

A movie that just sort of slowly moves along. I didn't mind the story and found it interesting - one man's experiences with Marilyn Monroe while she shoots her scenes for Laurence Olivier's The Prince and the Showgirl is the basis here. I thought the film was pretty well cast, particularly Branagh as Olivier. But it just wasn't a really enjoyable film. And though Michelle Williams throws herself into the role, I never really bought her as Marilyn - seemed more like a caricature. I think this could have been decent but it feels like we've watched the middle of something without a beginning or ending.
