This movie should stir some emotions and make you think about how you perceive yourself and others. Lana Turner plays an actress with a daughter who meets and hires a black woman to run her house. The black women also has a young daughter and this is the tale of the trials of these four women as they share their lives together. Mahalia Jackson adds a stirring song to this very interesting drama!
