Flags of Our Fathers is a disappointing film from the talented team of Clint Eastwood and Paul Haggis. This film only mildly entertaining. It moves slowly and lacks excitement. Clint Eastwoods direction is good, although he has a bit to many camera shaking scenes(i'm not at all a fan of that.). There's no doubt in my mind that Paul Haggis is a talented writer/director, but, his screenplay(or lack there of) in this film is laughable, the only good part of the script is the narration. The cast is only decent. Adam Beach and Ryan Phillippe are good in their roles. Barry Pepper, Jamie Bell, Neal McDonough and Robert Patrick are also good. But, Jesse Bradford and Paul Walker(who's barely in it) are bad. The Film has a good score and breath-taking Cinematography, along with outstanding battle scenes. but it's the "Hero" scenes, that make this one a bore. Too Bad.
