One of the best scorsese films in existence. Criminally underrated in my opinion. De niro carries the whole thing on his back and Jerry lewis's performance is also worthy of praise.
I can see how todd philip was probably inspired by this while making THE JOKER. "RATHER BE KING FOR A NIGHT, THAN SCHMUCK FOR A LIFE".
