Big Wednesday

I was told that Big Wednesday is a famous surfing movie from the 70's. Don't ask me why that is, coz I don't know. This is a slow moving film, with a running time of 2 hours. Considering that about half of the whole film is just watching guys surfboard, this movie is a total waste of time. Seriously, who directed this film? I think they need some serious help. First of all, you don't put dramatic, 'everything's turned out alright' music at the START of the movie. It goes at the end. Start taking notes. Then there is the fact that the whole movie is just a sequence of happens, without the movie actually getting anywhere. Sure, some movies are supposed to be like this (think Pulp Fiction), but this was obviously not one of those films. It needed direction but sadly, there was none. Okay, so maybe I'm being a little harsh. Maybe the fact that I don't like watching surfing mademy views of the movie negative, but I can't help it, because for me, this was a hopelessly boring movie.
