Ugh! By far one of the worst movies i have seen. Although the trailer makes it look quite brilliant, i guess that's what they are supposed to do to fill the seats? Casting on this was complete crap, i dont mind casting no names if they are good no names..these people couldnt act their way out of a wet paper bag! Storyline was also complete rubbish. A bunch of kids who are touring through The Soviet Union happily until one of them meets a hack tourist guy who promises to get them into the quarantined area of Chernobyl, so he convinces the rest of the group that i would be fun to see all the broken down homes and buildings. Unfortunatly upon getting there some unseen force has removed their distributor cap and adjoining cables so the travel guide 'Uri' can no longer drive them out of there so they are stranded the night. Attacking hungry dogs and people that we cannot see(Cannot see anything that well as this is one of the darkest movies i have ever seen) that seem to want to feast on the gang are some of the things that they go up against.
Once again, the movie is so damn dark it frusterates us the viewers into almost stopping this and saying "Screw it!!" If you want a good , although gory, film that is around the same genre and storyline then by all means rent any of the updated "Hills Have Eyes" films as they are so much better...Leave this one alone as it sucks completly!!!
