It's certainly beautiful to look at as director Wong Kar Wai employs three cinematographers, and the unconventional approach makes for an unpredictable experience; however, it's overwhelmingly uncertain about where it's going and why. It gave me the feeling that it was shot without a script as if the images and beautiful actors were thought of as enough to sustain momentum. A mild recommendation for those who can appreciate films that exist in a slow universe. Final Grade: C+
