Watchable....Just barely!

Double Identity, also known as Fake Identity, is a straight to video movie by Val Kilmer. Here Kilmer plays a doctor caring for patients in war-torn Bulgaria who gets accidentally caught up international diamond smuggling ring who believe him to be as a government operative. Pursued by a pair of trigger-happy gangsters, Dr. Nicholas Pinter escapes certain death with a little help from a lovely secret agent Katrine played by Polish actress Izabella Miko (Athena of 2010 Clash of the Titans)…. But nothing is as it seems because the harder Dr. Pinter works to prove his innocence, the more convinced his enemies become that he's the man they've been searching for.
Disappointing, I've always liked Val Kilmer's work but the bearded, bloated, long haired character he portrays here is no Jason Bourne. Only the beautiful Izabella Miko makes this movie watchable!
