“Hamnet” is one of the must powerful and emotionally devastating movies ever made. Chloé Zhao, director of the solid Oscar wining movie “Nomads”, and the underrated Marvel movie “The Eternals”, delivers one of the best movies of the year. Great acting from Paul Mescal (“Gladiator II”) and Jessie Buckley, an incredible script, and sledgehammer like emotional impact highlight this slow paced, but excellent drama. Great for Shakespeare geeks as well.
