Visually intriguing but not any fun for how convoluted it is, "The Grey Man" is a colossal failure that might have worked if it had been better told.

Entertaining if a bit too much at times, Chris Evans makes for an interesting villain while Ryan Gosling broods his way though his part and Ana de Armas is fine if underutilized. Throw in Billy Bob Thorton, Jessica Henwick, Alfre Woodard and Tamil superstar Dhanush and you have a globe-trotting, action-packed spy caper that at times is too slick for its own good but will do for when you're in the mood for this kind of thing.
