This black comedy does start out quirky enough and it's got a definitely mean-spirited edge towards it. Awful lot of suicides happening in this movie for laughs. Apparently it was released DTV in the states despite its impressive cast. I can kind of see why. It does begin to fizzle out near the end as things start to wrap up. Steve Zahn isn't bad as a likable loser though and Jeff Goldblum is a lot of fun as a crook that can't quite stay dead.
