A Brief Interlude for The MPAA Ratings Bulletin

By Chris Kavan - 04/29/20 at 11:07 AM CT

With so many major films delaying their release date, I figure the MPAA Ratings Board is likewise going to see some downturn in what it submitted in the coming weeks and months. That is why we're entering a period that I see as a major drought of any films of note. And it could last awhile as there are still only a handful of films beings released by the end of summer coming out. I will extend a laurel to any major films that are going to hit streaming (Trolls World Tour and Scoob! being prominent - but their are others) but this week their aren't any of those either. Just three films in total and only one with any notable pedigree (but still no release date). So enjoy this short list and I can only hope for better things ahead.
