OMG! This film is a pile of horse crap! The kills are off screen, their are no likeable characters! I'm not a feminist so please don't shove it down my throat! Half a star is being generous!

Black Christmas isn't bad because it has an obvious feminist message to send - it fails because, frankly, it's a bit dull. The PG-13 was meant to lure in younger audiences but it also means the film can't live up to its slasher roots. Plus, the characters all seem to blend in too much - with only Imogen Poots and Aleyse Shannon managing to somewhat stand out in the crowd. Otherwise this is a completely mediocre teen-centric horror with a lot of girl power - and not much else.
