A sugary sweet gem with Rosalind Russell in peak form. It lasts a little longer than necessary, but the character of Auntie Mame is so enjoyable a presence she could never overstay a welcome.

I simply adore this movie. Rosalind Russel is terrific as Auntie Mame. A funny and touching story of learning to lover your crazy family.
