I first saw this movie when I was a kid and I immediately wanted to go to a convent school. My parents said no. Then I saw it as a teen and immediately wanted to become a nun. My hormones said no. But this is still one of my favorite movies. Why? One, huge Hayley Mills fan. Two, huge Rosalind Russell fan. The story of girls living in a convent school run by the stern but caring Reverend Mother is just irresistible to me. I enjoy watching the girls grow into women and all the pranks they pull on the sisters. Is it dated? Probably. The clothes are so old they are practically back in style. But I think this would still be a fun movie for a tween sleepover if you are looking for a good clean movie that will make them laugh.
