Try "The Fly"

I watched "The Fly" with my kids as part of a project to prepare for the upcoming DreamWorks animated film "Monsters v Aliens".
"The Fly" is one of those classic B-movies from the 1950s. I had seen bits and pieces over the years, but I had never seen the entire movie. The plot involves a scientist who is working on a a method of instantly transporting people across space. When he chooses to conduct his first human test on himself, there is literally a fly in the ointment. The transporter mixes up the scientist and a fly that is stowing away in the chamber, creating a monster mash-up... a human with the head and arm of a fly and a fly with the head and arm of a human!
