A romantic comedy about two friends who keep seeing each other in different locations and periods. Harry Burns is played by Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan is Sally Albright. They hook up their friends and see how relationships are nurtured. The conversations continue they realize how each one is important to the other.
A friendship is born basically at college between a man and a woman who think it is best to maintain friends rather than have sex ruin their relationship. 20 years or so pass and they figure maybe it's time to give it a shot.
