Homer accidentally pollutes a lake. A celebrity US President chooses an option to stop the pollution by creating a huge dome around Springfield. Then the EPA decides to destroy Springfield using a bomb. The Simpsons move to Alaska since the town wanted to kill Homer. He then has an epiphany to save the town and himself. The rest is history for the family.
After Homer pollutes lake Springfield beyond repair, the EPA puts a dome around the town and it's up to the Simpson family to save the day.
