Plot: This musical-within-a-musical amassed several 2006 Hong Kong Film Awards, and rightfully so. A sumptuous production involving a love triangle (one vertex of which is the great Takeshi Kaneshiro, of House of Flying Daggers fame) on- and off-camera. It’s best described as part Busby Berkeley and part Barnum & Bailey--with a touch of amnesia mixed in for good measure.
